This year we have 9 breeds included in the classes:

Including the breeds below but not limited to:-

• Galway
• Commercial
• Charrollais
• Beltex
• Zwartble
• WestTexel Club
• The West of Ireland Suffolk Championships.

This is an ideal chance for the farmer to view some of the top quality breeds.

Also on Sunday, Galway County Show are introducing the Sheep Shearing Championships.

Sheering will commence at 11am and will feature three finals in the mid-afternoon. Two of these will be machine and the other one by the traditional method of the hand shears.
